THE PILOT: Our Chief Pilot, David Parkes, has been flying balloons over the Gold Coast hinterland for 17 years and has enjoyed a 100% safety record for his entire flying career. David finds something magical about floating through the air in silent, peaceful pose and clearly enjoys it as much today as he ever did. Much of this can be attributed to the obvious enjoyment his passengers get from the flight. David's relaxed, easy manner and professionalism will calm even the most nervous first timers as he points out the interesting features along the way.

TAKE OFF: We fly over the Gold Coast Hinterland every morning at sunrise. When you make your booking you will be advised where and when to meet your host. A complimentary pick up and return service is available to Gold Coast visitors. Locals will be met at Palm Meadows Golfing Resort, Gooding Dve, Carrara. (Exit 77 off Pacific Hwy) THE FLIGHT: You will be invited to assist the Pilot and Crew to prepare the balloon for flight. Once aboard the wicker basket, your magical flight begins. The launch is so gentle, you will not even realise you have left the ground. The peace and gentleness of ballooning will surprise you and the views are outstanding. REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS: As your comfort and safety are our primary considerations we will not fly if the weather conditions are deemed unsuitable – primarily if it is too windy or too wet. If we are weathered out we will reschedule your flight to another date that suits you. If this is not possible a full refund of any payments made will be given. Cancellations by you must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the flight to allow us to re-sell your spot. “No-shows” on the day of the flight and late cancellations will not be refunded. Bookings made over the internet cannot be refunded, but we are happy to reschedule your flight to another date.
