WEDDING IN A BALLOON – for something really different.

Enjoy the wonder of a Ceremony in The Sky for 4 to 16 people and up to 200 for a wonderful breakfast reception.

 

A balloon wedding or commitment ceremony is something really special and we have a lot of experience at making it the perfect day to remember. Balloon Down Under can tailor the event according to your wishes. Yours can be a traditional style or casual wedding or something different. The balloon is exclusively yours.

We fly almost every day, subject to the weather being OK.  We meet our passengers at the 5 star Palm Meadows Golf Resort, Gooding Drive, Carrara just before sunrise. Ballooning everywhere takes place in the gentle winds we get just after dawn, so we meet you just before sunrise so that we can be in the air just after it.

• Traditional white with train and veil or something else – you decide.
• Limousine or balloon 4 wheel drive transport – you decide.
• Decorate the balloon basket – no problems.
• Music in the sky – no problems.
• Celebrant – you can arrange or we can put you in contact with some that have already done a ceremony in the sky.
• The pilot can be an official observer (you need 2 observers)
• Photographer – bring them along
• Breakfast can be just for the wedding party or up to 200 guests can come along for your “reception” at the 5 star Palm Meadows Golf Resort Lakeview Restaurant.
• Palm Meadows can accommodate special decorations by arrangement.

Ballooning is a weather dependant activity and if it is raining or too windy we can’t fly. You need to take this into account when planning a balloon wedding / ceremony. We always suggest that you have a Plan B ready to implement in case of bad wether on the day.
